So I installed a new 970 Evo Plus SSD and I can’t seem to get my laptop to work past the Boot Menu, it boots normally when I install my old SSD so it works just fine. I’m not sure what I’m suppose to do.

This is the screen I’m stuck at.

I’ve tried clicking every possible options on that screen but all it did was go to a black screen for a second, and then go back to the boot menu as shown. Thanks in advance!

does your new SSD have an operating system installed? from what I can assume there's no OS Installed thus it's going to the boot menu, asking you for a drive with an OS. if your laptop supports adding both SSDs at once, try that and boot from your old SSD to get an OS Installed to the new SSD.

if your laptop doesn't allow 2 SSDs, then you will need a bootable installation media on a DVD or USB and select it from the boot menu (it could boot automatically too) and get an OS installed through it.

to create a bootable usb media you need a working laptop, so you can put the old SSD back in and make a bootable usb, then put back the new SSD and also insert the usb and install windows onto the new SSD.

Cheers bud. It’s a brand new SSD so nope. I will try this and let you know the outcome. Appreciate your time!

See here for how to get Windows installed. What you are seeing is because you have no bootable device yet.
