Hi there,
I recently got a new laptop with the following specs:
- Core i7-3537U @ 2GHZ
- 8GB RAM
- Intel HD4000 and NVidea GT735M
- Toshiba MQ01ABF050H (500GB)
- Touch screen Full HD 15"
Despite being a fairly high performance laptop, it's frustratingly slow. Things continually crash, and from looking at Task manager I've put it down to the HDD - it's frequently at 100% even for trivial applications. E.g. today it was reading:
The 2 big users are Blizzard download client and Dropbox.
Summation gives ~6MB/s. No idea if this is right, I couldn't find a figure for it (I could only find 6Gbps ~ = 750MB/s)
So my question is, do these seem like normal figures for such applications, and is this ~6MB/s cap expected?
Thanks,
Phil
