I have my laptop for about three years now and have been experiencing a problem a few months ago and It's starting to irritate me. I'm on Windows 7 and on Acer aspire one. My internet keeps disconnecting and it would have that little x on the status bar. My power options are set to 'maximum performance' I even unchecked the "Allow computer to turn off this device to save power" on the power management tab with ALL my routers. Not to mention all my drivers are up to date and my computer is virus free! I did everything I can, like changing WIFI channel to 1 and the width to "Auto Auto 20/40 MHz"
Whenever I troubleshoot my wlan, the internet would come back again, only if I'm lucky. There's an error that kept saying. "Problem with access point or adapter."
Please help!
