We have a laptop that keeps shutting down and a a look at the event manager showed the following codes at roughly the same time the laptop was shutdown:

Error message: Error code: 0xDC, Sub error code: 0x7CError message: Error code: 0xDC, Sub error code: 0xB1Error message: Error code: 0xE0, Sub error code: 0x4EError message: Error code: 0x12D, Sub error code: 0x75

Any ideas on how to solve?

Typically laptops shut down because they're overheating. It's all too easy for a lap[top to overheat if it's not cleaned regularly.

Try running a temperature monitor (HWMonitor for example) and post the CPU/GPU temps both at idle and at maximum load.

Is it a shutdown or a crash? I mean, does it just show the "shutting down" text with the spinny circle and gracefully shuts off or is it a more direct, lights-out kind of shutdown? If latter, can you describe any identifiable things with it? Like fans kicking in full power, sounds glitching etc.

Error codes being registered makes me assume the latter, but then, any bluescreens happening? If so, you should upload some dumps.
