See if update driver in device manager solves the problem.

Also, you can try running System File Checker from cmd prompt.

sfc /scannow

Might still be a corrupted system file, or worse yet, an infection !

Do they work in anything? In the BIOS? Try with a Linux Live CD?

If not, you need a new keyboard. Drivers and files won't help with this at all.

I have a similar problem, but my backspace & (") & (') keys aren't working suddenly. Not a matter of keyboard, as its my mom's laptop & she never uses it harshly, and she never spills anything on it, and never hit the keys strongly. This is really strange. 🙁 😱
