Laptop monitor malfunction

My very well operating laptop monitor has recently started malfunctioning. Occasionaly, the pictures on the monitor disappear; the screen takes various colors, sometimes black. When I rotate by moving the monitor forward and backward, it recovers. I have checked the "Device Manager"; both monitor and graphics card drivers are updated. As you know, the monitor body is connected to the laptop by means of a hinge-like arrangement. I guess that the monitor cable is attached to a part which can revolve in this hinge; maybe it is another mechanism, which I don't know. I think there is a contact problem here. How can I enter this region and how can I fix this problem? I would very much appreciate if you give me the related information. Also, as I hear, in YouTube there are some videos related to this kind of issues. I would appreciate for your sending if you are aware of any links of this kind. Thank you very much in advance.

If the screen goes in and out when you rotate the screen back and forth, that is almost certainly a slightly loose connection with the ribbon cable that goes from motherboard to screen.

Someone is going to have to take it apart to see.

Thank you very much for the reply. It has partly answered my question. I have conducted some inquiry related to this problem. There are some explanatory videos, for example http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQSworo9UWEI. It shows cable monitor connection at the back of the monitor, but it doesn't show how this cable passes through the hinge and what arrangement exists at this point. So, I still have to ask this complementary question: Does this cable pass through this hinge (explained in the original question) directly? I would like to ask your information or references about it. I live in a rural area. There is no good technicians here. I have to solve by myself.
