Hey everyone,

My laptop (Asus GL753VE) started to show this problem recently. It's very noticable when going from dark screens to bright ones, for example my Chrome has a dark theme, and whenever I open a new tab and then go to a website with whites in it, the whites are very dim, like something is wrong with the display. But that dimness disappears after a few seconds. Same happens the other way around -- the darks are bright after a bright screen and the shift to the actual, correct brightness is visible -- it seems like waves are passing through the screen that darken it.
I'm on Win 10, up-to-date, 1050Ti is running on the latest drivers, too.

Can anyone help me with this? I don't really think it's a hardware related issue, but if it is, please let me know.

Thanks

Yes, sadly I have that, too. But the problem was caused by Intel's Display Power Saving Technology, which was turned on. After turning it off, the problems I mentioned went away.
If anyone wonders how to fix it, go to Intel Graphics Settings, Power and disable Display Power Saving Technology.
