I installed a shady version of a premium software offering. Since then Wifi is terrible. The side panel is only showing 3 available networks:
Home Network
xfinitiwifi
"Hidden Network"
My phone however is able to see 8-10 available networks.
I tried all of the easy fixes -- network drivers, ran about 6 antivirus programs in both normal and safe mode, and finally I did a system recovery to the point prior to installation. Nothing has changed.
If I do a quick fix through the network sharing center, wifi works well for 10-15 minutes then craps out. Signal is only 2 or 3 bars and I am right next to the router (supplied by xfiniti). If I walk into the other room signal dies.
