Laptop Performance issues

Hey guys,
I just picked an ASUS gaming laptop (ill put specs below) and I've only had it for 3 days, and now I'm getting a MASSIVE performance drop. I only have a few games I play, Cod 4 which as of yesterday I had 250 frames steady and I woke up this morning and now I have 30 frames constant. Minecraft I had 60 on the super world and now I get 30. I haven't checked CS:GO yet but i'm not sure whats going on. The temps seem to be normal but im not sure about mid game. The only thing ive done on this computer for the past three days is play COD4, CS:GO minecraft, Combat Arms, and this morning, Ghost recon. The only other things I've done was try to get a new CFG for Cod 4, and get a free RAR unzipper last night which I canceled the install for. I don't have a antivirus but i ran microsoft's that they have on the website for free. Any ideas?

If this happened right after you were installing software, likely that is where the issue is. Running without an anti-virus is not a good idea. Install AVG free, and run a full scan, also install and run Malwarebytes, no need to install the full program, just the free scanner part is fine to run now.
