Hello, this one is kinda strange.
Laptop model: Asus X555DG
This laptop reports MORE memory than there actually is, 4gb stick reported as 8gb, and 8gb stick is reported as 12GB - in BIOS, Windows 10 task manager, and CPU-Z.
Another thing - in Memtest86+ v5.0.1 it managed to pass every test once without a single error, but then it reported errors in test 4, and after changing ram stick it caught errors right away. The ram stick shouldn't be faulty as it's completely new. Another interesting bit - "Err-Bits" is the same on both memory sticks.
BIOS is updated, tried default settings as well.
It seems the problem is either CPU or chipset going just by Memtest results, but i wonder how other points affect that diagnosis?
