Question Laptop runs but doesnt see DVD and HDD

My little brother's XPS M1210 doesnt working that I doesnt understand anything why it isnt working. Laptop runs very good and does nice job. I doesnt hear any of HDD and DVD sound. And in the BIOS it says "hard drive = none". What should I do? Sorry for my bad english.

I tried it with 4 different HDD. Still laptop doesnt see any HDD.
