I have an acer nitro 5 and was looking to add an additional hard drive (I chose the m.2 option) but when I opened the bay the cable was not included. I have been calling multiple part companies and acer themselves but the cables they directed me to were said to not be compatible. The one they have on their website apparently don't work with this model, despite it being about a year old.

If anyone can help me find a sata cable that can fit into my system that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

(EDIT)- So I've double checked my hard drive bay (Pics below) and It doesn't look like there would be a connector, it just looks like empty space. Is this what you guys are talking about?

Yes, in your new picture it appears to be missing on your laptop. Check out this picture (again, from the review that was previously linked): https://i0.wp.com/laptopmedia.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/inside-1.jpg

Note the rectangular connector that is in the HDD bay in that picture. That's what you need to find. It's possible that they didn't include it with your laptop. It's also possible that they did, but it is hidden behind the plastic cover (you'll need to remove the entire cover to see if it's there). I would be very annoyed with Acer if they didn't include that connector. That is something they should provide. If you remove the entire cover and the connector is not there, then you need to be specific with Acer customer support (send pictures) and have them send you the connector.
