Question Laptop screen shows no image while running on battery, but okay with mains adapter plugged in ?

On my Lenovo IdeaPad the screen is black while running on battery, but OK when powered by AC adapter.
It is like that while booting, in BIOS, and in Windows. If I connect mains adapter the screen immediately comes on. Like backlight is not working while on battery? Any idea where to search for the problem and how to fix?

Under BIOS there is no power profile.

I think he means check the power profile in Windows. You can change the screen brightness on battery in the settings, some laptops will allow you to turn the brightness down so low that it looks like its off.

Hi Thanks, it is the same problem in Windows, Linux, DOS, BIOS or any power-on state. Off course I checked power profile in Windows, it is not the case.

It seems a HW problem.
Anybody have an idea where to start?

Battery health is good.
I was very precise, when it goes to battery it looses LCD, not powering off.
