Question Laptop shuts down by itself

Hello, I have laptop Asus K550J, Intel i7-4720HQ. Nvidia GTX 950 4GB, 12GB RAM. 1TB HDD. So my problem is that the laptop sometimes shutsdown by itself it doesn't matter what I am doing and doesn't happen often, but it bothers me. And the thing is that when I turn it back on, all the proccesses are there, for example if Google chrome is open after I turn it on it's still there. I have a problem with the battery from a long time so I guess it's related.

I thought so, I just wanted to hear another opinion. Do you think it will help if I give my laptop for a clean and to put thermal paste?
