Laptop to monitor HDMI problem

I have the LG W2363D PF monitor and I'm trying to connect my laptop to it using an HDMI cable. It worked only for 2 seconds and now, it constantly goes to power saving mode. Both the monitor and the laptop work very well and the cables are connected perfectly and they're not loose.

What could be the problem?

Realtek has HDMI drivers that fixed some of those things for us. Go to their site or your OEM for drivers and make sure your OS is up to date. W 10 fixed a lot of those niggling issues as well..
