So on your "msconfig" the only related option you found was "touch keyboard and handwriting service" ? Wasn't there anything else at all? It's hard to believe that there are no other option.
hmm yeah i've checked again, n just to confirm (in case i am completely on the wrong thing) i have screenshot where i am...
So, i've written all the options/ services tht were there (half of them didnt make sense to me so i didnt know what they were related to, btw, since the list was REALLY long...i've omitted some of the obvious ones i knew are not related to touchpad i.e. adobe acrobat services n stuff)...

...So thts it, I missed ALOT of them out cuz i knew wht they were for (or atleast they didnt seem like they had anything to do with the touchpad)...The 'Human Interface Device Service' is disabled (why?) so i'll try to enable it n then give the touchpad a go. Are there any other services that should have been there btw?
