Hey guys, so basically I bought a new asus X550CA laptop. The thing is absolutely brilliant apart from one problem. Ok, so while I am playing games like minecraft on it, the touchpad has some issues. For one, the tap-click does not respond ( I,ve disabled the touchpad delay when using keyboard), the tap-click is very glitchy and responds like one in ten clicks. The multitouch( to scroll between items in Minecraft) also doesn't work. I,ve been to loads of google searches but no help so far. Anything is appreciated.

Looking at them i don't see something related to the touchpad, i don't really know why there is no option for you and sadly i don't think i can do anything else, hopefully someone with a similar laptop will answer on this one.

I have a slightly different model asus laptop and I had this exact same problem. The solution is to download the elantech driver. It's who makes the asus trackpads these days. Somehow when they rebranded it they managed to screw it up. Way to go Asus! lol. Anyway, you can get the drivers on their site still at least. http://support.asus.com/Download.aspx?SLanguage=en&m=Touchpad&os=30

Seems like the same issue I've got....mainly with games with large inventories?.....you ever find a fix?

Download the Elantech drivers http://support.asus.com/Download.aspx?SLanguage=en&m=Touchpad&os=30
Speaking of big inventories, this 100% fixed the issue when playing Divinity: Original Sin for me. :)

If u r using synaptics u have to tap a key to activate it eg. I want to look around an area while running. You notice the pad wont respond while you hold up arrow. Dont release the up arrow then simultaneously press a key like shift and use the touchpad and it will work like a charm!
