Question Laptop turn on when power on! Suggestion.

In reference to, Laptops PresarioCQ61, Compaq 610 and lenovo Y500. I had checked their BIOS, for its power management feature. To enable “Restore to previous state after power cutoff”. But there are no options I found. While I found these power managemnt options in many desktop CPUs. computers.

Basically I want to turn laptop on when I switch on the power. So with regard to these three laptops, am I missing something in configuration part? or is that just it?

The BIOS options available on a laptop are typically very minimal compared to desktops with retail motherboards. Essentially it's a "cut down" BIOS custom-made for the laptop manufacturer.

This is by design to minimise the risk of a laptop owner screwing things up and then expecting the laptop manufacturer to fix it under warranty.
