Hello all,

I have a laptop here "Dell Latitude e5530" That turns off within 1-2 seconds of starting it. I've opened the back up and can see the fan turn for that time and shut off. (power led goes off as well).

When it happened the lady said that she saw a blue screen that said "windows something" and went to a pixeled screen, she forced a reboot and now this issue.

So far I've removed the battery and tried powering it on with the ac adapter plugged in: failed
Held the power button down (60 seconds) with the adapter and battery unplugged replugged the ac adapter only: failed

Not even real sure what other troubleshooting options I have at this point without being able to get to a bios or anything. Any help is appreciated for further troubleshooting.

Thanks

Update: Removed 1 stick of ram and walla it turned on.... Really didn't think memory would cause something like this. I'll update further if it actually the fix.

2nd update: Seems to good to go now. little less ram but it's working good. Will run some memory tests on it. Thanks for those that looked at the post.
