I have a Dell Precision 7510 with Quadro M2000M. It is connected to a Dell U2718Q 4K monitor via a docking station. The resolution defaults to 1920x1080, which seems to work fine. However, I can't run at 3840x2160 which is the monitor's native resolution. When I change the resolution, the screen goes black for a minute then reverts back to 1080p. I tried to incrementally increase the resolution. It'll do 1600x1200. However, the next step, 1920x1200, results in a black screen and then reverts back to the last working resolution. Is my video card not capable of outputting 4K? Any suggestions? Thanks.

I the screen didn't go black when I was connected without the dock and simply had a straight connection from laptop to monitor. I was able to confirm the resolution change in Windows. When I plugged back into the dock, it remembered the resolution and started fine at 4K. Thanks for the help.
