Question Laptop will not start after motherboard and ssd and ram replacement

I changed my Lenovo motherboard to a Lenovo Yoga 530-14ARR EYG21 NM-B781 AMD RYZEN 3 2200u FRU 5B20R41622.

I also installed Crucial 16GB DDR4 SODIMM 2666MHz 260-pin memory and a new battery L17C4PB0 L17M4PB0 for Lenovo Yoga 530-14ARR.

I installed a 500gb m.2 2242 SSD without any operating system. I made a boot drive USB with windows and plug it into the Laptop. When I press the power button the button lights up the USB blinks and the ssd has a red led on continuously.

The keyboard lights up and then turns off and the fan spins then turn off and then spins constantly. The display never comes on. I tried plugging in a HDMI cable to a TV monitor but it recieves no signal. Am I missing a step to get this laptop to boot from USB so I can install windows. I also tried a 4gb stick of memory I removed from a Lenovo 330 and that did not change the outcome.

What happens if you turn the laptop on at this stage (using wall adapter, without battery and SSD) ?

Does the screen works and if it does can you enter the Bios?

When powered on without the ssd and battery the keyboard turns on then off and the power button remains on. Fan spins. Screen doesn't turn on.
