[SOLVED] Laptop Wireless Card compatible with Desktop motherboard?

ASUS PRIME Z390 - P has a M.2 2230 WIFI slot. Can I use the intel ac wireless 9260 card in that slot?

Yes, unless there is a motherboard limitation. You will still have to wire the antennas to be outside of the case which takes a bezel in the back with two antenna jacks and wiring.
Why not get a USB one instead? And use the m2 for ssd?

I have a wifi card, might as well use it i guess. And there are no antenna jacks anywhere on the motherboard. I was going to ask how do I attach the antennas ?

You will need RP-SMA antennas and cables RP-SMA to IPX. You will also need a bezel to hold it.

That is right... unfortunately the price for all those will be like another USB WiFi adapter 🙃
