Hey, so my friend is having trouble with his laptop not connecting to his wifi. He just moved to the Philippines and brought his laptop and phone from the US with him. His phone connects perfectly fine to his wifi, but his laptop won't. I know its not some problem with his router or anything like that because I had a similar problem where I brought a laptop overseas to England and it would not connect to any wireless network there. Is there anyway he can make his laptop connect? The only thing I'm guessing is it could be the wifi channels, but there is not much on that I can look up.

Extra: his laptop can connect perfectly when wired by ethernet.

Solution
Find IP values for the router you are trying to connect to and enter them in IPv4 in the laptop. OR if there are nay values for Ipv4, set it to auto.
