Laptop wont load webpages, but is connected to internet

All webpages work on my smartphone , so i assume the router is okay. Google search will also allow me to search and load all the searches! e.g. facebook . Ill then click facebook and it wont load. Really weird. Help is much appreciated

okay ill try them ! Im using chrome. I tried internet explorer and had the same problem! thanks for the swift reply

its gives me an option to run diagnostic test , but reaches a dead end
