[SOLVED] Laptop won't turn on after opening the case

Hi, I have an hp 15-da1005nv laptop in which I wanted to upgrade the RAM so I opened the case, took out the RAM in order to photograph it and then put it back and closed the cover. Now the laptop won't turn on, but the power and the battery lights are on. The fan and the screen won't turn on and I hear a light,soft beep inside the cover.


I would appreciate any answer.

Maybe open back up and reseat the ram.

This is for desktops. I have a laptop

Maybe open back up and reseat the ram.

Ok i will do it, but I had the correct angle, when put it back. Is it possible to have damaged the RAM, because I touched it with bare hands?

I just saw it but there are no blinking lights

I doubt it.

Try this, keep laptop unplugged from outlet, remove battery, press and hold the power key for 30-45 seconds. Replace battery, plug in to outlet and see if it boots.

Everything is ok now. I just reinstalled the RAM. It wasn't correctly in the slot.
