Laptop won't turn on

i have a dell inspiron 1300 laptop that won't turn on

i can plug it in then 3 green lights come on - then it goes to 1 green light ( the 3rd light from the left ) and then this same light turn to a flashing amber

i have also done this without the battery in so that can be ruled out

Anyone any ideas

Any software or hardware changes made to the PC lately ?

Provide any incidents leading to the issue and maybe I can help.

Hello,

My name is Kunal and I work for the Social Media and Community Team at Dell. You can try to do flea power by disconnecting all peripherals and cables (including power adapter) and then hold down the power button for 15 seconds, after doing that if still computer is not switching on and the 3rd light from the left is flashing orange, then get in touch with local technician to check the motherboard.
