My laptop keeps using my integrated graphics card instead of the dedicated graphics card. I noticed this when games started running slow.

I have a Dell XPS 15 9560 with a integrated Intel HD Graphics 600 and a dedicated NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1050.

I have already tried: setting the dedicated graphics card as the default in the in Nvidia control panel and setting the preferred in-game graphics card to the dedicated graphics card. However when I look at the processes tab in the task manager I see that my games are still run on GPU 0, which is the Intel graphics card when I search it up under the performance tab in the task manager.

Can anyone help me fix this? I have run out of ideas and I would like to use my graphics cards properly.

Thanks,
Ron

I would try and look in the BIOS for something to either enable the GPU....or disable the integrated graphics.
