Question Laptop's num pad is on but it sometimes won't boot ?

Hello guys!,

My Lenovo Z50 i5 always worked great and still does when it actually boots.

So the problem is when i want to do some things on my laptop and want to boot it the NUM pad is always on black screen so what i have to do in order to actually get it to boot is remove the battery, plug in the battery or try to boot it only with the mains adapter. This goes on for like 10-15 attempts until it will boot with no battery inserted and only with the mains adapter.

Things i have tried:

• I replaced the bios battery -- no change.
• I bought a new mains adapter and battery -- no change
• I tried switching from EUFI to Legacy and back -- no change
• I trıed updating the bios -- no change
• tried updating drivers -- no change
• tried Windows repair -- no change

i have seen many vids on youtube with the same problem but I just can't find a fix.

help would be appreciated

Is the RAM removable. Try with just one module then the other. Assuming you have two.

the rams are not removeable but when i did some tests i see no problems with the ram
