P4T533 Yes Supported since BIOS 1001
Search in groups.google.com for "enablebiglba", a registry setting.

One way to solve the problem, is to prepare a slipstreamed SP1
WinXP install disk. What this does, is takes your original WinXP
disk, adds SP1 to it seamlessly, and then you burn a new CD with
the modified image. Then, every time you install XP using the
modified disk, it installs SP1 without going through having
the original version installed. There are instructions on the
web somewhere on how to do this (I've never done it).
As I understand it, if you use slipstreamed WinXP SP1, then no
registry tweak is required. If you use the original WinXP, then
follow the instructions in 303013.
I also recommend you test the resultant partitioned and formatted
disk, because some users have had file system corruption, using
their live data. Do not trust your data on the big disk, until
you have filled the disk with test files. The magic mark is at
137GB, and if you made just one partition, I would want to copy
a test 1GB file, 140 times to the disk, to see if the disk
really is ready to go past 137GB. If the disk addressing is
still not "48bit" ready, then the file system gets corrupted
instantly when a file you are writing passes the 137GB mark.
There have been some people in this group, who never got their
big disk working properly, and without an explanation of why.
Hope you have better luck. (Check your BIOS version.)

Paul
