hey can anyone confirm if The Last Of Us Remastered on PS4 runs (i.e., playback/Boots/saves/loads) better depending if its played from a Bluray or digital download?

I'm not so sure about ps4 as I'm waiting for Destiny to buy one, but if it's like ps3, the digital copy will likely run and load relatively faster.
A physical copy will install only the minimum files required, relying on both the blu-ray disk and the ps4's HDD to run. A digital copy, on the other hand, will have to solely rely on the HDD; in that case there would be no need for a blu-ray disc to spin and no latencies related to accessing and reading operations.

im not sure its the same for all games, i think for the last of us ps4 installs all disk data to the system storage totalling aprox 50gb, meaning that regardless if you bought a disk or you download a digital copy it will read it from system storage. so i assume it would be the same but wondering if anyone has tested this..

Well yeah, it does depend on how much data it installs of course. If it's 50gb it'll most likely be a full install, so the difference between physical and digital shouldn't be noticeable.

I'd still advise to get the digital copy, just in case. Either that or you have to wait for someone who tried it himself/herself.
