I am using the on board sound from my Tomahawk b350 and get awful electronic noise. The sound output is connected to my amp and speakers.

If I disconnet the audio cable there is not noise
if i unplug or turn off the Evencool psu: there is no nnoise
if I unplug my monitor the noise is less
PC not booted but above plugged in; I get noise

Is this RF noise and what can i do? Thank you

So you plugged headphones (not sure what sens is) into the audio out that fed the amp and no problems. That's good news for you.

I don't think the cable to the amp would be picking up any significant RFI if there wasn't an issue with it...and most likely I would think the issue is with the plugs or the plug/jack interface.
Swap out whatever cables you're using. If you don't have the cables to do that, reseat the plugs on the cables. Make SURE your system is grounded. Must be a 3 prong plug. The outlet must have a working ground.

Reseat the sound card (if not integrated).

Make sure your AMP is grounded as well.

just tried another variation. just unplugged the audio cable feeding the amp and plugged the sens headphones in the front socket ant its perfect so mayby the audio cable to the amp is picking up rf?
