Latest gigabyte bios

I updated my bios to the latest version which is f23d and im facing freezing issues. The screen randomly freezes and then Goes black and then i have to restart the pc again. What could be the possible problem?

I am using:
ab350m gaming 3 motherboard
With ddr4 2133mhz ram
And a Ryzen 1600

Were you having any issues before updating your BIOS? Also, what GPU and PSU are you using with these components?

The disk uage was always at 99%

What type of storage device? Did you install the chipset drivers from AMD?

I am using seagate barracuda 2TB harddrive and yes all the drivers was updated

In the BIOS, is your SATA mode set to AHCI or IDE? It should be AHCI for optimal performance.

I beleive its AHCI and its on fast boot mode so to check ill have to reset it

And its not that often . It happened three times in about 36 hours of usage

Windows Update can cause such issues. There are several threads here on Tom's describing a similar issue as yours. If so, allow the WU process to complete or cancel until a more convenient time.
