I received the laptop for free. As of right now, it is a giant paperweight. I get it home and find out that all the drivers (internet, wifi, audio, CD drive, etc) were missing (video works). I think he forgot to mention this when he said he did a system restore. I opened up the shell, all hardware is (physically) there. No media was included (he claimed he doesn't have any). I have a genuine Windows XP Professional disc/key.
If needed, I can provide the service tag and or additional information.
So, how screwed am I? I don't care if there is a monetary cost (I am not looking for pirated crap) to get this unit up and running.
