when i unplug the cord the speeds go from 1000 to 600 (in this case really annoying)
im talking about a radeon hd 8790m
i tried msi after burner but no sliders are adjustable i checked both windows and amd settings and set all to max performance on battery.. nothing helps
bios doesnt have anything related to the graphics adapter

note!
i know dell does this to get longer battery life... in this case i dont need long battery life (30 to 45 mins max needed) im expecting shit battery life from this

Solution

It's not to get longer battery as a first priority. It's to not overload the battery. A battery can only deliver so much watt and thats why the gpu has to slow itself down to prevent asking too much power and turning off the pc.
