Question League of Legends FPS is capped at 60 Hz with 300 Hz monitor ?

Hello,

I got a MSI GS66 stealth gaming laptop with a Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-10980HK CPU @ 2.40GHz 3.10 GHz and an NVIDIA RTX 2070 Super Max Q.

I haven't fired up LoL in about 6 months (let alone, any game). I updated all drivers on my laptop, and booted it up. I keep being capped at 60fps in game. My monitor support up to 300hz. My FPS are not capped, V-Sync is off, playing borderless or not doesn't matter. I played around in Control Panel of NVIDIA and GeForce Experience, doesn't change anything.
What maxes my in game FPS capped? Other tasks are all above 60FPS on my laptop, like simple browsing.

Any help would be much much appreciated!

Did you check the fps settings in the game itself? Are you using high power plan? Have you tried disabling Xbox game bar?
