Leaving lightboost on all the time?

I recently bought an acer GN246HL 144hz monitor. After finding the ghosting was pretty bad on the monitor I found out it had Nvidia lightboost that gets rid of the ghosting. It works perfect and the ghosting is gone. What I was wondering is if I can leave the lightboost on all the time or do I need to turn it off when not gaming? Can it ruin or damage the display if it is on all the time?

Solution
Main Pros:
+ Elimination of motion blur. CRT perfect clarity motion.
+ Improved competitive advantage by faster human reaction times.
+ Far more fluid than regular 120Hz or 144Hz.
+ Fast motion is more immersive.

Main Cons:
– Reduced brightness.
– Degradation of color quality.
– Flicker, if you are flicker sensitive.
– Requires a powerful GPU to get full benefits.

I can't see any long term effects: http://forums.blurbusters.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=99
