Led strip connector

Hello all, i recently bought a new led strip to go in my pc, however for the life of me I cannot figure out where it goes it came with an adapter as well which converts it to a smaller version of itself, please see the photos attached, i have a gigabyte gah55ud3h for my motherboard if this helps, i cannot seem to attach a picture however if you.google gamemax led strip the connector comes up on images, i have tried to attach to a fan header but no luck

As far as I can tell, your motherboard doesn't have an RGB header...so you need to buy an RGB controller.
