So.. as the tittle says i have an issue with the LED on my h110i gtx.. I builded my computer a few days ago and i had an issue with it not turning on. I found the reason a day later, i plugged the corsair link cable on the usb header on the motherboard wrong, so the computer refused to start. I tried powering it on multiple times but it only worked when i disconnected the corsair link cable. The pump itself and the fans are working as they should without the cable. I tried plugging the cable back to the cooler and into the motherboard, correctly this time and the computer booted up normally like it did before and everything was working.. except the LED on the pump.. Now, what i think i`ve done is maybe i fried the LED by trying to power it on multiple times with the cable misplaced but i wanted to ask here if that is possible or not. My specs are as follows:
CPU: I7 6700K
MOBO: ASUS MAXIMUS VIII HERO
COOLER: H110I GTX
GPU: G1 GAMING 980TI
RAM: 2X8 CORSAIR VENGEANCE LPX 2400MHZ
1X 240GB KINGSTON SAVAGE SSD, 1X 1TB WD CAVIAR BLUE 7200RPM
PSU: XFX XTR SERIES 650W

I think i probably have damaged it my self but i just wanted to clear it out of my mind.. Any suggestions on what to do if i havent killed it? Thank you.

P.S: I tried downloading the Corsair Link software, it won`t recognize my h110i gtx.. I`m running windows 10.

If you put it on wrong it is very possible that something go fried. The USB headers have specific pinouts for voltage + and - and putting a positive pin into a negative pin can cause issues.

Your best bet is to contact Corsair and see if they will do an RMA for you.

Unfortunatelly, i bought this over amazon.de and i live in Greece.. it`ll take a very long time for them to check it and i dont have another cooler.. I powered my computer on once, and the light did turn on for a split second! Is there a chance the cable is just bad?
