Left click doesn't work

I had kind of same problem at my friend's PC. He cannot click on anything. Right click doesn't work, left click doesn't work. When i open a window with keyboard(who it's working) and i click on that window with mouse, the window deselects, like i clicked under that window....WTF!!?? After i clicked on scrool mouse button the problem was solved......but it came agan.....Any suggestions ?

It may be a stuck key, try a different keyboard and mouse.

Restart the PC. If that doesn't help, swap out the mouse as noted above.
