Hello, about a week ago my PC stopped working. I thought it was odd the display was off as I had left it running while I had lunch. When I tried to reboot it, though, it wouldn't POST. The VGA light stayed on. Ever since then I have been trying to fix it, and I've tried many things like clearing the CMOS, reseating the GPU, swapping RAM sticks, etc. Nothing works, though. I am not quite sure where to go from here. Ideally I would test the parts one by one to figure out which one(s) are causing the problem, but this is my only build. Also before anyone asks, I don't have a motherboard buzzer or whatever they're called. Any help regarding what steps I should take to troubleshoot would be much appreciated, as I'm hesitant to go out and buy replacement parts before I can even deduce which is broken.

Here are my PC's specs:
MOBO: MSI B450 A Pro
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600
RAM: Corsair VENGEANCE LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 3200MHz
GPU: EVGA Geforce RTX 2060
Storage: ADATA SU635 480gb & Samsung 870 EVO 1tb
PSU: GAMEMAX VP-600

I just checked on a PSU tier list and it's in the F tier 😳
I got mine a long time ago when I didn't know any better, guess it has a pretty bad reputation here.

Any PSU recommendations then?

There's currently a sale for a similar product from the same brand. Should I consider getting this one instead, or is this one worse in some way I don't fully understand? (I hear that wattage isn't everything)

I would get the one I linked. Newer model improved standards.
I went out and ordered the PSU you suggested. It took forever to come in the mail, but it's here now.

Unfortunately, I'm still having the issue where the VGA light stays on. Is there anything that I can try that doesn't involve going out and ordering a spare part to test if a certain part is causing the issue? I don't regret buying the PSU, it's nice to have a high quality one that will last me, though I was hoping it would solve the issue outright...

Okay, I was searching online and found this.

"CPU LED flashes for a second and then the VGA light stays on."

That word for word describes my issue. I probably should have mentioned earlier that was what was happening, but I thought only the VGA was relevant because that was the one that stayed on.

I tried doing what they did to fix it but no luck. Still, at least now I have something more specific to search for when I try and find fixes online.
