Left Window Key goes on and off even when i have my keyboard unplugged

So yer come home from work one day and the window key has been locked so i cant type or anything just brings up shortcuts when i press keys everything is working fine apart from that. my roomates had the cooler on all night and it is a swampy it is possible that something got a bit damp from mildew but other then that i have no idea whats going on ive tried rolling back reinstalling drivers and everything apart from clean install.

Wait, are you saying that even when its not plugged in (the keyboard) the windows key is still activated?
