Is there some licensing issue or [Google] agreement issue with AOSP? Why is no OEM offering it?
It just doesn't make sense.
Why would these company, especially new comer and smaller players hire their own dev team to put on their own ugly/slow skin when they can just take AOSP and make it compatible. This way they can save money on the dev budget and cycle, and the customers will be happy, because it'll be semi-Nexus phone.
[citation][nom]house70[/nom]Lenovo, make a great phone (hardware-wise), slap AOSP on it (pure Android), open -source your code and flood the market with it. Then you'll have not only China, but the entire world.[/citation]
And see millions of useless phones riddled with viruses...lol. Lenovo has allot of work to do and Apple has yet to join China's largest cell provider. Will be fun to see the competition fight it out!
