Lenovo G505s not turning on

Hey guys I was using my laptop one day when I left it on the table and when I come back it won't turn on. The charger light is indicating that it's being charged, and I've tried the whole "take out the battery and hold the power button for a minute" thing and still no luck :/ any help?

I have exactly the same problem. Have you managed to resolve it yet?

Update: In the end I had to return it to Lenovo for repair under warranty - the mainboard had to be replaced!
