[SOLVED] Lenovo h430 motherboard upgrade

hello i'm looking for advice on which motherboard will be compatible with the ram/cpu and graphics card i got at christmas.
my current specs.
I7 3770 CPU 1155socket
two sticks of 4GB ram 240pin DIMM
GIGABYTE. GFORCE GTX 1050Ti
650W power unit
my current motherboard is a cih61mi v1.1 which apparently is incompatible with my GPU

That CPU is already six generations old. You are not going to have much luck finding a compatible motherboard for a reasonable price new. And any used boards you find are probably at or near the end of their life expectancy. A poor gift if you ask me, no offense intended. Still, it is what it is so these are the boards you need to look at.

There are four boards listed there new, with prices showing availability somewhere in new condition. The rest of the boards shown there are not apparently available new, but you MAY be able to find them new OR used, on ebay or through other vendors. Even on Amazon or Newegg, through 3rd parties, there may be SOME new samples available that are not listed on PCPP due to them being third party vendors.

The motherboard chipsets you want to be looking for are primarily going to be H77 and Z77. Some older chipsets like B75 or H67 will also support that CPU but a BIOS update might be necessary before it will work in an older chipset.
