Lenovo T440p LCD backlight not working

Hi, my t440p's screen backlight stopped working. The laptop still turns on, and the screen still displays everything, but the backlight won't work. I ordered a new screen and replaced it (not my first time replacing this screen), but the backlight still won't function.

Is this something I can troubleshoot/repair on my own? What can I do next?

Does the system have an inverter? That may need to be replaced not the backlight.

If it's not an LED backlight it should have one.
