Question Lenovo T520 issue

Hi,
My laptop is not turning ON. So I replaced cmos battery (CR-2032). But still issue exist. But I encountered new issue that as soon as I pluged charger my laptop start automatically and worked fine but if I shutdown it and then I press power button it does not start. I am not sure old cmos battery having issue or not but it is 7 to 8 yr old.

Pl help...

If your laptop battery (not CR2032) is old and doesn't hold a charge then buy a new battery.

hi, thanks for prompt reply.... my laptp battery is old and falty so I removed it and my latop was working okay without battery also...
