I recently picked this system up off of Ebay. The seller shows it booting to bios, as it was sold driveless. I added a drive and attempted to boot the system but am getting no signal out over Displayport or with a powered VGA to HDMI adapter.

I have already tried reseating the ram and it did not change the situation. I have also tried booting without the drive installed and get the same result.

When connected via display port the system will wake the monitor from sleep, but the monitor only displays "no signal" and goes back to sleep.

The drive in the system was completely formatted and contains no files or data.

Has the monitor input selection set to displayport?
VGA to dp or hdmi adapters are not very good, stick with DP.

What are the instructions on how to get into the bios?
The Lenovo forums may help.
Or, try to boot from a usb stick with memtest on it.
I'm not sure how I would do this, as I cant see any kind of display settings. It's waking the monitor so I assume it is sending some kind of signal through the displayport.

I was able to figure it out, I needed to go in to bios and change the boot devices, it was trying to boot from a non-existent m.2 drive.

Everything is running fine now, I've got my os installed and everything seeming to be perfect. Thanks guys!
