Lenovo Thinkpad E555, 2100 detection error on hdd0

I have a Lenovo Thinkpad E555 with a Western Digital ATA drive. Recently, after having some wireless connectivity issues, I tried uninstalling the wireless drivers in order to have Windows 10 reinstall them to attempt to fix these issues. I did a hard shutdown, and when I turned my laptop back on, it hit me with the error message, “2100 detection error on hdd0”, and I cannot get back into Windows.

Lenovo Diagnostics tell me both the brand and model number of the hard drive, but it shows its storage capacity as zero. What’s more, Linux can’t find it.

Is there a solution to this, or is this the end?

Yes, it is detected by BIOS, and I have run the BIOS’ diagnostic test for my HDD. Unfortunately, it seems to fail immediately. The BIOS shows me the HDD’s model number, serial number, and manufacturer name, but tells me it has 0gb of storage space in total.
