Lenovo Thinkpad or Apple MacBook Pro 2018?

Hi, I am drawn between Thinkpad 480, X1 Carbon Gen 6 and MacBook Pro 2018. I have lots of QC issues of both manufacturers. Which is better hardware-wise and have good after sales support?

Not sure why you have issues with quality, both Apple and Lenovo are some of the top laptop vendors for quality. Which one you want to pick, would be based on what you want to do with them. Different operating systems. There is an article about the X1 Carbon having very different keyboards and screens, some are not as good as others, so that may be an issue if you end up with a model made with parts you don't like.
