lenovo thinkpad x200 and which cpus are compatible?

If you have a x200 mainboard, you can mount any of the listed cpus on the mainboard?
The T9600 makes the mainboard a fast one?
About the T cpus, are some significantly faster than the rest?
If you swap a cpu, do you have to make settings on the board?

The Intel® Core™ 2 Duo processor T9600 is significantly faster than all the others, and no when you change a processor you do not have to tweak settings in the bios. UNLESS something goes wrong with the installation, and the only way to fix it is by installing a clean version of windows.

The Lenovo Thinkpad x200 is a Laptop.
Why you want to Upgrade a Laptops CPU, is out of the Question to me.
But, As stated by Joeman001, the Intel Core 2 Duo T9600 would be your Best Bet.
But, you'll have to Order it online, being a Laptop Processor i'll doubt you'll find a it at a Retail Computer Shop.
As well, if you dont know what your doing, take it to a Computer Shop and pay Serivce for them to do it.
If installed Correctly, you shouldnt need to Fiddle with the BIOS Settings.
As well, a Processors Installatiion does not affect the HDD, so, if you F*ck Up your Laptop, rip that HDD out of it and install it in a New Rig, but like I said, if you dont know what your doing, take it to an Expert.

If you watch gluglug's website, they say they can make the x200 mainboard into a free software computer. I have not found a place where I can buy a mainboard with an t9600. I have found places where I can buy the mainboard and the t9600. Likely it will be to expensive when you add cost for mainboard and t9600 and gluglug's installation service.
